**GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
For Cleaning Services**
1. Definitions
“Client” means the person or business receiving the cleaning service.
“Contractor/Company” means the cleaning service provider.
“Services” means the cleaning tasks agreed upon in writing, message, or booking.
“Premises” means the property where the services are performed.

2. Service Agreement
2.1 A booking or written acceptance (including SMS or email) forms an agreement between the Client and the Company.
2.2 Services will be carried out as described in the booking confirmation.
2.3 Any changes to the agreed services must be requested before the scheduled clean.

3. Pricing & Payment
3.1 All prices are quoted in AUD.
3.2 Payment is due on the day of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 Late payments may incur a late fee.
3.4 Additional charges may apply if:
The property is excessively dirty
Extra time or tasks are requested
Access is delayed
3.5 If the Client is registered for NDIS or other programs, the correct rates will apply.

4. Access to Property
4.1 The Client must ensure the cleaner has access to the premises at the scheduled time.
4.2 If access is not available, a lockout fee (up to 50% of booking value) may be charged.
4.3 Pets must be secured for the safety of staff.

5. Health & Safety
5.1 The Company reserves the right to refuse unsafe, unhygienic, or hazardous work.
5.2 Cleaners will not move heavy furniture or lift items over 10kg.
5.3 The Client must inform the Company of any health risks, broken items, or dangerous areas.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
6.1 A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
6.2 Less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee (up to 50% of service charge).
6.3 If the cleaner arrives and cannot commence work, a 50% call-out fee may apply.

7. Quality Guarantee
7.1 If the Client is not satisfied, they must notify the Company within 24 hours.
7.2 The Company will return to rectify the issue at no cost, provided the complaint is reasonable.
7.3 No refunds are provided for change of mind.

8. Damage & Liability
8.1 Cleaners take reasonable care but accidents can occur.
8.2 The Company is not responsible for:
Pre-existing damage
Wear and tear
Damage to fragile or non-secured items
8.3 Any claim must be made within 24 hours of the service.
8.4 Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

9. Client Responsibilities
The Client must:
Provide running water, power, and safe working conditions
Secure valuables
Ensure the property is not excessively cluttered
Advise of any allergies, special materials, or sensitive surfaces

10. Keys & Security
10.1 All keys provided will be handled securely.
10.2 The Company is not responsible for existing security issues at the property.

11. Termination of Service
11.1 Either party may terminate ongoing services with reasonable notice.
11.2 The Company reserves the right to cancel services due to:
Abuse, rudeness, or unsafe behaviour
Non-payment
Continued cancellations
Misrepresentation of property condition

12. Photos & Documentation
12.1 Cleaners may take before/after photos for proof of work, unless the Client declines in writing.
12.2 Photos are strictly for internal use and not shared publicly without permission.

13. Privacy
All Client information is kept confidential and used only for service delivery.

14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the relevant state / territory
